Gulik Kaal, Rahu Kaal and Yamgandam

Yamgandam is an inauspicious time of the day. As per Hindu myhtology it is to be avoided for all good works and for yamgand (yamgandam ) our approach should be the same like the approach for Rahu kaal. It is believed that any good work started during yamgand period is destined to meet its doom; It will not fetch favourable results and efforts will go in vain.

Given below is the table depicting Gulik kaal, Rahu Kaal and Yamgand so that our activities are planned accordingly. This is a combined table which can be used as a ready reckoner:

This table has been prepared considering the sunrise at 0600 am and the day of 12 hours. Timings can be calculated by adjusting the time of sunrise on the basis of sunrise at your location.

It is advised by Hindu mythology to undertake only religious activities like worship during the slots of Rahu Kaal and Yamgandam as religious activities undertaken during these periods are supposed to yield manifold results. Except religious activities all other activities started during Rahu kaal are believed to get unsuccessful leading to a repeat attempt while the activities undertaken during Yamgand are believed to meet doom alongwith the decay of the energy and efforts put in it.

However Gulik Kaal must not be wasted and new ventures, journeys etc must be started and undertaken during the Gulik kaal as per Indian Mythology as it is considered to be the auspicious time slot leading to success and pleasant results.

There is no harm in experimenting a few times to test the suitability and then framing our views accordingly. Wishing a successful year ahead..
